Wild Animal Park Trip

Every December, the Wild Animal Park has its "Festival of Lights." We thought it would be a fun family outing as the kids love lights and would get a chance to see some snow (man-made).

By the Zebra lights.

Eliyana with her Kindergarten Bear (It's her turn to have him for the week) in the slushy snow area. Yeah, the snow is pretty pathetic but that's what you get in Southern California. They even can go sledding, but our kids were too afraid to try it this year. Maybe next. . .

It's snowing . . . well, almost. Actually it is a fake snow machine blowing bubbles. Looks so real. I know, pathetic, but again we live in Southern California and we take what we can get!

New Pet Bunny

As if we need another pet . . . we found this bunny out on the street. She's very friendly and loves attention (and carrots!). Eliyana is thrilled with her new pet.

Gideon's Baptism

Gideon was baptized on November 25. Caleb entertained the congregation during the baptism by peeking out from behind the pulpit and also lying down on the floor. The pastor commented that Josh is teaching his son to love the pulpit at such an early age! Of course gideon slept through the entire service!

Week 4

Gideon is 4 weeks old today. He's growing so quickly. Lately we've had to watch Caleb more often with Gideon. He's getting a little too affectionate! The kids love to talk to him and try to make him smile. It's fun to see them interact with their new brother.

So awake and alert!
