Mother's Day

I enjoyed a nice Mother's Day yesterday. Eliyana was so excited to give me her gifts and card when she woke up. Here's a picture of the card she made for me.


This was the front of the card. Quite the painting, I thought! Definitely a keeper for the memory box.


Caleb was also very excited to give me his gift that he picked out, as he says, "by my very self".




For some mother/daughter time we had a tea party with Eliyana's Japanese tea set (5 year birthday gift from her Aunt Heidi Verbrugge).

Gideon is 6 Months Old!

Well, actually 6 months and 1 week. I'm a little late in posting this. Where has the time gone? He's sitting up pretty good on his own this week. At his 6 month appointment he was 17.5 lbs and 27 inches long. He's been the biggest of the 3 kids.

Solid Food

Gideon had his first taste of solid food this week. He seems to like it so far.
